நான்கு எண்களின் சராசரி x1, x2, x3, x4 = 37
நான்கு எண்களின் கூட்டுத்தொகை x1, x2, x3, x4 = 37 × 4 = 148.
சிறிய மூன்று எண்களின் சராசரி x1, x2, x3 = 34
சிறிய மூன்று எண்களின் கூட்டுத்தொகை x1, x2, x3 = 34 × 3 = 102.
∴ மிகப்பெரிய எண்ணின் மதிப்பு x4 = 148 – 102 = 46.
வீச்சு (பெரிய மற்றும் சிறிய மதிப்புக்கு இடையிலான வித்தியாசம்) x4 – x1 = 15.
