The RBI Grade B selection process is a multi-stage process to ensure the appointment of the most eligible candidates for this post. The recruitment takes place in three stages including a Prelims, Mains and an Interview round. Details of the same are discussed below.
This stage is on for RBI Grade B (DR) General. It will be an online exam consisting of Objective Type Questions only. It assesses the candidate's knowledge of General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English Language. Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks separately for each test as well as in aggregate to be eligible for the Main exam.
This stage comprises an online examination including descriptive and objective type questions. The weightage of this stage varies, based on the post as follows:
Candidates who clear the Mains exam are called for an interview which carries 75 marks. Candidates may choose to answer the questions asked in the interview in either Hindi or English. The final merit list for all posts is prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the Main exam (300 marks) and interview (75 marks).
Candidates applying for the various Grade B posts must fulfil the RBI Grade B officer eligibility criteria. These include the applicant's age, qualification, nationality, etc. Those who do not meet these requirements will be disqualified.
