The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will soon release the AP LAWCET 2025 Cut-Off Marks for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated LLB courses at the time of admission or seat allotment. Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalam conducts AP LAWCET on behalf of the APSCHE. The AP LAWCET cutoff marks are the minimum marks a candidate must achieve to be considered for admission to one of the AP LAWCET 2025 participating colleges. The cutoff will be announced a few days after the announcement of the AP LAWCET 2025 Result.

•  The AP LAWCET Cut-Off Marks 2025 will be used by colleges accepting AP LAWCET score to screen out qualified and deserving candidates from a large pool of test-takers.
• There is no minimum mark requirement for SC/ST candidates. They only need to take the entrance exam to be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds of admission. The qualifying marks are category-specific. Check other AP LAWCET eligibility criteria here.
• The cut-offs for AP LAWCET 2025 will change depending on the type of law college, the course the candidates choose, and their entrance exam scores.

AP LAWCET 2022: Qualifying Cutoff vs Admission cutoff

The qualifying marks are the minimum marks required for a candidate to qualify for (or pass) the AP LAWCET exam. Only those who pass the AP LAWCET 2025 exam will be considered for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes.

The Admission cutoff, on the other hand, is the minimum mark required for admission. To secure a seat for the same, a candidate must score higher than the admission cutoff. Admission can be guaranteed if you achieve the admission cut off.

Factors Affecting the AP LAWCET 2025 Cut Off

The AP LAWCET Cut-Off Marks 2025 is determined by the law school, the courses chosen by students, and the marks obtained in the entrance exam. The cut-off scores will be released separately by the participating colleges. The following factors will play a role in determining the AP LAWCET 2025 Cut-Off Marks:

• Number of candidates taking the exam: Higherwill be the Cut Off for the AP LAWCET exam, if the number of candidates who take the exam are more and vice versa.
• The level of difficulty of the AP LAWCET Examination: A difficult question paper may result in a lower cut-off, whereas an easy or moderate question paper may result in a higher cut-off.
• The total number of admission seats available: The number of seats available during admission influences the cutoffs and is linked to the number of candidates taking the exam. If there are more candidates than seats available for the AP LAWCET, the cutoffs are likely to be high, and vice versa.

The AP LAWCET 2025 counselling process for admission to the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses is conducted online via a web-counselling platform. AP LAWCET 2025 counselling and seat allotment will be done college-by-college based on:

• The candidate's AP LAWCET 2025 merit rank and 
• Web options entered by the candidate. 

Candidates must have qualified in the exam with at least 35% marks if they are from the General/OBC category, and no qualifying criteria if they are from the SC/ST category, in order to participate in the AP LAWCET 2025 counselling.
