Concept:

By conservation of energy,

The kinetic energy has to equal the change in potential energy, so

KE = q ×V

Calculation:

Given that, 

Mass of proton = 1840 × mass of electron

Potential difference (ΔV) =  1KV

By using the above concept 

(KE)final  - (KE)initial = Charge on proton × ΔV

(KE)final  -0  = (+e) × ΔV
