'CCE' means

CCE stands for Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation. It has been introduced as a school-based system of evaluation by the CBSE in 2009 with the enactment of the Right to Education Act.

• to lay emphasis on thought process and de-emphasize memorization.
• to minimize misclassification of students on the basis of marks and to eliminate unhealthy cut-throat competition among high achievers
