കണക്കുകൂട്ടല്‍:
പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ എണ്ണം = m എന്ന് കരുതുക.
സ്ത്രീകളുടെ എണ്ണം, f = 6000 - m
ചോദ്യമനുസരിച്ച്,
പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ എണ്ണം 8% ഉം സ്ത്രീകളുടെ എണ്ണം 10% ഉം വർദ്ധിച്ചാൽ,
⇒ m ന്റെ 8% + f ന്റെ 10% = 6500 - 6000 = 500
⇒ \(\dfrac{8}{100}\) × m + \(\dfrac{10}{100}\) × (6000 - മീ) = 500
⇒ 8 മീ + 60000 - 10 മീ = 500 × 100
⇒ 2m = 60000 - 50000 = 10000
⇒ m = \(\dfrac{10000}{2}\) = 5000
