Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFTotal amount proposed to be collected = 4400 crore
⇒ Total amount collected from all cities = 4 × 4400/11 = 1600 crore
Amount collected from Bulandshahr = 10 × 1600/100 = 160 crore
Amount collected from Aligarh = 30 × 1600/100 = 480 crore
⇒ Remaining collected amount = 1600 – 160 – 480 = 960 crore
Amount collected from Ghaziabad = 960 × 3/4 = 720 crore
⇒ Amount collected from Noida = 960 – 720 = 240 crore
Total amount collected who from Aligarh and Noida together = 480 + 240 = 720 crore
∴ Required average = 720/2 = 360 crore
