According to IS: 10080 - 1982, the cube size recommended for compressive strength of cement is 70.6 mm, whereas, for concrete cube, the standard size is 150 mm.
Important Points
- A Cement-sand mortar mix of 1:3 is prepared and water is added at 10% of the weight of both cement and sand. In general, 200 grams of cement is used.
