The selection for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector will be as per the candidate's performance in the written examination and the personal interview. BPSC MVI Age Limit

The required age limit is as follows

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 37 years (Male) & 40 years (Female)
• The reference date to calculate the age limit of the candidates will be 01st August 2019.
• The age relaxation will be applicable as per the Bihar State Government rules.

BPSC MVI Qualification

• The candidates must possess a diploma in Automobile /Mechanical Engineering.
• The candidate must compulsorily possess a driving license(LMV).

BPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Exam Pattern 2025

The written examination for the BPSC MVI will consist of three papers. The first paper will be general studies. The duration of this paper will be 2 hours and the total marks for this paper will 100 marks. The second and third papers of Motor Vehicle Inspector will be Engineering concepts (Automobile/Mechanical) and Motor Vehicle Rules respectively. The duration of these two papers will also be 2 hours. All three papers will consist of objective type question.
