Candidates who appeared for SSC JE Paper-II 2024 must submit their Option-cum-Preference for posts and organizations through the official SSC website under the My Application Tab. The submission window will remain open from 9th December 2024 (5:00 PM) to 13th December 2024 (11:59 PM). A confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission. Physical submissions will not be accepted, and preferences can only be revised during the given period. Candidates failing to submit preferences will not be included in the final selection list.
Disclaimer: Candidates, who do not submit their SSC JE post preference(s) on the website of the Commission within the stipulated time, will not be considered for any post in the Final Result. Such candidates shall not be provided with another opportunity to exercise preference for posts and will be solely responsible for the same.

SSC JE Post Preference Order basically refers to selecting the post for which you desire to apply. Before the final result of the SSC JE exam is announced, candidates can choose a post of their choice. The final distribution of posts will be done by SSC on a merit-cum-preference basis. Candidates should keep in mind that once picked, the SSC JE post preference order cannot be changed under any circumstances. As a result, candidates should carefully select their post based on their needs. The post will also be allotted based on a candidate's health, i.e. whether or not they pass the physical and medical tests.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when you fill out your SSC JE Post Preference Order.
Candidates' preferences for various posts and departments will be sought through an Online Option Form on the Commission's website prior to the announcement of the final result.
If an applicant has not specified his preference for a post and organisation/office, he or she will not be considered for it.
Aspirants who do not submit their post preference(s) on the Commission's website within the deadline will not be considered for any position in the Final Result.
All the JE posts under Border Research Organisation (BRO) have strict physical and medical standards, including the Physical Efficiency Test.
If BRO preferred candidates fail to pass the PET/PST will not be subsequently considered for any other post/department
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification related to the SSC JE Post Preference on its official website. The aspirants who will take the SSC JE Paper II 2024 should fill up their departmental Preference before the declaration of the final result.

Individual department based on candidate merit
Post preference given
