AIAPGET is a national-level entrance exam for candidates who want to pursue postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homepathy. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Candidates who qualify in the exam can get admission to various PG programs offered by AIAPGET colleges across the country. Admission is based on the online test, and those with higher scores have better chances of getting into top colleges. To secure a seat in any college, candidates must clear the AIAPGET exam and meet the cut-off marks. Seats are allotted based on merit and seat availability in the participating institutes. Late Kedari Redekar Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya

The Late Kedari Redekar Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya was established in 1999 at Gadhinglaj, it is a 6.3-acre green campus. It has 15 well-equipped teaching departments, a developed laboratory, a research lab, a library, a teaching pharmacy and a herbal garden. It offers a degree in BAMS( Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery ) and an MD in Ayurved Vachaspati. 

• The admission to the college is based on the AIAPGET score secured by the candidate.
• The candidate applying for a BAMS degree must have 50% in 10+2.

Govt. Dhanwantari Ayurved Medical College & Hospital Ujjain(M.P.)

The college is popularly known as Govt Dhanwantri Ayurvedic College Ujjain and was founded in the year 1968. Govt Dhanwantri Ayurvedic College Ujjain is affiliated with Vikram University, Ujjain and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines.

• The courses offered are BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and MD in Ayurveda.
• Admission to BAMS will be through the NEET exam.

AIAPGET College List: Required Documents for Counselling

The important documents that are required for counselling that the candidates need to keep in mind are given below:

• AIAPGET 2025 admit card
• AIAPGET 2025 result
• Mark Sheets of BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS
• BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS Degree Certificate
• Internship Completion Certificate stating that the candidate has completed his/her duration by January 31, 2025.
• Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by CCIM/State Medical Council
• High school/higher secondary certificate/birth certificate
• A valid photo ID proof (PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card)
• Caste/community Certificate

What Before & After the AIAPGET?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) exam every year to admit aspiring candidates in postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy in multiple institutes and colleges. 

The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode all across the country in 93 exam cities. The candidates will be tested for their knowledge of the particular discipline from their undergraduate level. The candidates need to answer the 120 questions in a 2-hour time period.

After the exam is conducted and results are declared, a merit list will be released, opening the doors of admission to the selected candidates in the preferential order of the merit list. The candidate, on choosing the college, needs to follow the counselling procedure of the particular college.
