The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (BCECEB) administers the BCECE syllabus and exam. The BCECE is organised at the state level and is only available in offline mode. Candidates can enrol into UG programmes like B.Pharma, BPhT, BOTh, BMLT, B.Sc Nursing, Bachelor programmes in Dairy Technology and Fisheries, and B.Sc Agriculture, etc. Candidates may take this exam after passing the 12th standard exams. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Agriculture are the major subjects in BCECE.
- The question paper is divided into three sections based on the candidates' subject combinations. BCECE 2025 is held in a single stage only.
- The paper will have 100 questions from the BCECE syllabus in each section. The candidate will be given 1 hour 30 minutes for each section.
- Candidates must note that in order to qualify for BCECE, they must obtain the minimum qualifying marks (50% for the General category and 40% for the Reserved category).
- Candidates must also possess all the BCECE Eligibility Criteria for age limit, educational qualification, etc. in order to qualify for the exam.

BCECE 2025 Syllabus
BCECE is conducted as per papers. Candidates have to select the subjects relevant to the course they are applying for and attend only the exams of the particular subjects. To prepare for the exam, the candidates can use the syllabus. This will help the candidates’ BCECE preparation be at ease and will make the process fast. BCECE 2025 Exam Pattern
Candidates must be aware of the correct exam pattern as well as the BCECE syllabus. Knowing the correct exam pattern will help the candidate strategize better for the exam. Candidates can check out the specifics below:
- Exam time: one and a half hours (90 minutes) for each section.
- Exam Mode: Online Exam
- Type of question: Multiple Choice Question (M.C.Q)
- Physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and agricultural science are among the subjects covered.
- Total number of questions: 100, 100 from each subject.
- Marking scheme: Four points are awarded for each correct response, with one point deducted for each incorrect response.
