The Gitam Institute of Management (GIM), Visakhapatnam conducts the GIM Admission Test or GAT for admission to its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programs in various specializations. The exam is conducted at 50 different centres across the country. It is a computer-based test conducted online. Age Limit Criteria
There is no such direct age criteria mentioned in the official notification. The official notification only mentions that the candidates should have completed their 12th standard qualifying examination. Those who will qualify in 2023 will also be termed eligible. This is one of the important criteria. The candidates with diplomas are not allowed in this exam.
Number of Attempts
The candidates can apply for the GAT Exam only once for each course during every phase. Hence, you can appear once for one exam for the given academic year. You can reappear for the GAT exams for the next academic year.
Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Examination
The candidates should be aware of the aggregate marks before applying. At least 60% aggregate marks or 6 CGPA (55% in the case of CBSE and ICSE) should have been scored in the qualifying exam. This criteria should be fulfilled by the candidates. The candidates also must have studied Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects in their 11th and 12th standard.
GAT 2023 Nationality Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should be of Indian nationality. Candidates should have completed their 12th standard qualifying examination. Foreigners and NRIs are eligible to take the exam with certain defined eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification.
GAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign/NRI Students
