The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) has released the brohcure with detailed subject-wise syllabus links. The candidates who have applied for the exam should be familiar with the NEST entrance exam syllabus before they appear for the exam. The NEST exam will be conducted annually for admission into the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER).

The NEST exam is a national-level exam that is conducted for admission into the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISAR). NEST Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates appearing for the NEST exam should be aware of the exam pattern before appearing for the exam. The candidates can check the detailed exam pattern on the official website of the commission. The candidates should remember the following points while appearing for the NEST exam.
- The duration for the exam will be 3 hours 30 mins.
- The candidates will have to attempt 4 sections in the NEST exam.
- Each section will be for 50 marks.
- The exam will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.
- The NEST exam will be held for a total of 200 marks.
- Add 2.5 mark for each correct answer and deduct 1 mark for each incorrect answer
