Symbiosis International (Deemed University) offers a variety of programs at Graduate, Post Graduate, Doctoral, and Diploma levels. The SID has released the SEED Admit Card for the candidates to download. Programs are offered in the following Eight Departments: Law, Management, Computer Studies, Health Sciences, Media & Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences, Engineering, and Architecture & Design. One of its campuses that offers UG and PG courses in design is Symbiosis Institute of Design(SID) which is located in Pune, Maharashtra. The candidates who want to get admitted into the courses offered by (SID) must clear the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design(SEED). SEED is a design aptitude test examining the colour, geometry, visual observations, creative thinking abilities, general design awareness, awareness of Indian culture, craft and traditions, etc.

How to Download the SEED 2022 Admit Card?

The candidates must download the admit card for SEED that is released by the exam conducting body on the official website. The candidate must download the admit card to attend the exam. Otherwise the candidate will not be permitted to attend the exam. Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the admit card for SEED:

Step 1: Students will have to visit the official website of SEED 

Step 2: Click on the tab ‘download SEED admit card’

Step 3: Enter the login credentials - application number and password

Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5: The SEED admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Students have to download the SEED admit card and take a printout of the same.

The SEED Admit Card contains some much-needed information that includes the name of the candidate, Roll number, and other information about the candidate.

The SEED admit card will carry the following information:

SEED Admit Card 2022: Important Instructions

• It is mandatory to carry your SEED 2022 admit card to the examination center.
• Make sure to carry valid ID proof.
• The reporting time is 07:30 AM. Candidates are advised to reach the exam center 15-30 minutes before the reporting time to be punctual and save themselves from any tension.
• Manage your time properly. You will have 2.5 hours to solve 150 questions, so don’t take more than 1 minute to solve each question.
• Candidates are advised not to indulge in any unfair means
• Make sure to follow all the guidelines related to COVID 19: wear a mask, carry a hand sanitizer, get your temperature checked at the entry gate, maintain social distance and avoid overcrowding.

What are the Instructions Printed on the Admit Card for SEED?

The SEED Admit Card has instructions that are needed to be followed by the candidate when attending the exam. The instructions that are on the SEED Admit Card are as follows:

• The exam center details and the reporting time of the candidate to the exam center.
• The documents required to be accompanied by admit card for identification purposes ( refer to the what to carry section for detailed information)
• The conditions and constraints followed by the candidate inside of the exam hall.
• Candidates should keep with them (i) Admit Card and (ii) Student Identity Card/Photo Identity Card issued by Govt. Departments on the day of Examination for verification by the Remote Proctors. 
• No candidate shall be permitted to enter after the Gate Closing Time.
• Covid-19-related rules and regulations are also given on the admit card.
• Every candidate is compulsorily required to appear in all the subjects/ papers for which he/she had enrolled. In case, any candidate remains absent in any subject/paper due to any reason, whatsoever, he/she shall be summarily declared a failure. 
• No Candidate shall carry/keep with him/her mobile phone, I-pad, palmtop, pager, books, study material, printed or handwritten material, pieces of paper, digital diary, watch alarms, Bluetooth, health band, smartwatch, scientific and programmable calculators, listening devices and recording or photographic devices or any kind of communication device/gadget, or any other reference material, etc. during the Examination.

SEED 2022 Admit Card: How to Retrieve a Forgotten Registration Number?

Candidates often forget their login information, which is required to download their SEED Admit Card 2022. If the candidate did forget the login information, the candidate  just needs to enter their registered email id to generate a new password. The candidates need not worry as they can recover their login information by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: On the log-in page of the SEED Admit Card, click on the "forgot password" link.

Step 2: Enter the asked credentials like the registered mobile number and email address. 

Step 3: You will receive the login details on your registered mobile number or email address.

Step 4: Follow the instructions sent to you in your email to recover your lost/forgotten credentials. 

SEED 2022 Admit Card: How to Download if You Do Not Have Access to the Internet?

A candidate must need internet access to download the SEED Admit Card 2022. If the candidate doesn’t have the admit card, he/she will not be allowed to attend the exam. The candidate can download the admit card in any browsing center available to them if they don't have internet access. 

What if Candidates Misplace their SEED Admit Card?

If a candidate forgets where he/she has kept the SEED Admit Card before the exam, it will be troublesome. This is the reason the candidates must take at least 2-3 printouts of the admit card. Candidates who do not have a hard copy of the SEED admit card will not be permitted to attempt the exam.

If the candidate does not have the hard copy but has the downloaded soft copy, they can take the printout of the soft copy. Candidates who have misplaced their admit card can download the SEED admit card from the institute's official website and take a printout of it. Only candidates who can provide their admit cards at the exam center will be permitted to attempt the exam. 

What to carry on the day of the examination?

All candidates must bring the necessary documents to the examination center. Candidates must bring a valid ID for identity verification. The accepted identification documents are mentioned below:

• A copy of the SEED Admit Card 2022
• A Government-issued photo ID (Passport/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank Pass Book with a valid photo).

SEED 2022 Admit Card: Important Points to Remember

The following are the important key points that must be followed by all the candidates before leaving for the exam center: 

• One must double-check all of the information printed on the SEED Admit Card pdf and thoroughly read all the exam instructions.
• Bring at least 2-3 extra hard copies of the admit card.
• Keep an electronic copy of the admit card beforehand in case of an emergency.
• Check that all the information on the admit card is correct and legible.
• Candidates must ensure that they do not bring anything other than their SEED Admit Card and valid ID proof with them. Anything other than the required documents will not be acceptable, and appropriate action will be taken against the candidate carrying such items.

The SEED Admit card is released a week before the commencement of the exam (except 2019 and 2020 due to covid-19).
