Overview
Prev. Papers
The JEE Advanced 2025 exam was held on 18 May 2025 and students shared mixed reactions about the two papers. According to most students, Paper 1 was balanced, though it had some tricky questions in the Mathematics section. The Physics section was of moderate difficulty, while Chemistry was slightly easier in comparison. However, many students found the Numerical Value type questions a bit challenging.
When it comes to Paper 2, students felt it was more difficult than Paper 1. The Physics questions were especially conceptual and tough to crack. The Mathematics section in Paper 2 also required lengthy calculations, which made it time-consuming. Chemistry was still manageable for most students.
As per expert reviews, Paper 1 was moderately tough. The Physics and Chemistry questions were quite straightforward, but Maths had a few tough numerical problems. On the other hand, Paper 2 focused more on testing conceptual understanding, especially in Physics, where questions were complex and needed a deeper level of thinking. Maths again was a bit difficult due to long calculations.
