गणना:
लौह की मात्रा = 20/100 × 1000 = 200 ग्राम (1 किलोग्राम = 1000 ग्राम)
रेत की मात्रा = 1000 - 200 = 800 ग्राम
माना रेत की x मात्रा मिलायी जाती है।
प्रश्न के अनुसार;
⇒ 200/(1000 + x) = 10/100
⇒ 2000 = 1000 + x
⇒ x = 1000 ग्राम = 1 किलोग्राम
∴ रेत की मिलायी जाने वाली मात्रा 1 किलोग्राम है।
