Given:

The number of employees in companies A, B, C, D, E, and F are 320, 580, 450, 540, 660, 525

Company

Ratio of the number of male and female employees

Male : Female

A

7 : 9

B

18 : 11

C

8 : 7

D

14 : 13

E

25 : 41

F

13 : 12

Calculation:

Accordiing to the question:

The total number of male employees in companies A,

⇒ 320/(7 + 9) × 7 = 140

The total number of male employees in companies B,

⇒ 580/(18 + 11) × 18 = 360

The total number of male employees in companies C,

⇒ 450/(8 + 7) × 8 = 240

The total number of male employees in companies D,

⇒ 540/(14 + 13) × 14 = 280

The total number of male employees in companies E,

⇒ 660/(25 + 41) × 25 = 250

The total number of male employees in companies F,

⇒ 525/(13 + 12) × 13 = 273

The total number of male employees in companies A, B, C , D, E and F

140 + 360 + 240 + 280 + 250 + 273 = 1543

Again,

The total number of female employees in companies A,

⇒ 320/(7 + 9) × 9 = 180

The total number of female employees in companies B,

⇒580/(18 + 11) × 11 = 220

The total number of female employees in companies C,

⇒ 450/(8 + 7) × 7 = 210

The total number of female employees in companies D,

⇒ 540/(14 + 13) × 13 = 260

The total number of female employees in companies E,

⇒ 660/(25 + 41) × 41 = 410

The total number of female employees in companies F,

⇒ 525/(13 + 12) × 12 = 252

The total number of female employees in companies A, B, C , D and E =

180 + 220 + 260 + 210 + 410 + 252 = 1532

∴ The difference between the total number of male employees and the total number of female employees from company A to F together = 1543 - 1532 = 11.
