The Jharkhand Public Service Commission will release the JPSC eligibility along with the notification. The candidates appearing for the JPSC Civil Services Exam must fulfill the required JPSC Civil Services age limit of 2025 and the other eligibility criteria before applying for the exams. JPSC Exam Civil Services Age Limit 2025 (Expected)

Before applying for the post of JPSC Civil Services, the candidates must check whether they fulfill the age limit to sit for the JPSC Civil Services Exam. The minimum age limit to apply for the civil services exam is 21 years and the maximum age is 35 years. However, there is some relaxation given to the candidates that belong to the reserved categories. Age relaxations will apply as per the government rules to reserved category candidates.

JPSC Civil Services Age Relaxation

Apart from the age limit, some special category candidates will get age relaxations in the JPSC examination. The age relaxations are mentioned below:

  • An age relaxation of 5 years will be granted to ex-servicemen who have rendered at least 3 years of service under the state government of Jharkhand. 
  • Only the natives of Jharkhand shall be considered for age relaxation. 
  • Males and females who have more than one spouse shall be deemed ineligible for the age relaxation. 
  • All the certificates required by the board should be dated before the interview date of the candidate.

JPSC Educational Qualification (Expected)

All the candidates must satisfy the respective JPSC Civil Service Eligibility, such as the required educational qualifications, to be able to apply for the Civil Services posts. The required educational qualifications are described as below:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelors’ Degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
  • Final-year students are not eligible unless they clear their examination by the last date of application submission.

The Commission has specifically mentioned in the JPSC Civil Services eligibility criteria PDF that only the citizens of India can apply for the various posts under the JPSC Civil Services. Applications from candidates who cannot show proof of citizenship in India will not be entertained during the recruitment process.
