The selected candidates who fall under the final merit list will be considered eligible for the post of SBI Circle Based Officer. Those candidates will then receive a good salary package according to the 7th pay commission. The annual salary that an SBI CBO would receive will be approximately around INR 4,32,000/- INR 12,0000/-

SBI CBO Perks and Benefits

SBI CBO In-Hand Salary 2025

The SBI Circle Based Officer In-hand salary is approximately ₹48,480. This amount includes various allowances as per the guidelines of the 7th Pay Commission. The actual take-home pay may slightly vary based on the posting location and applicable deductions. Along with the basic pay, officers receive allowances like DA, HRA, and other benefits that enhance the overall package. This makes the role financially rewarding and secure for those joining the officer cadre at SBI.

SBI CBO Probation Period 2025

The candidates once selected for the post of SBI CBO in the respective circles will have to undergo a probationary period of 6 months. At the time of the probation period, the candidates will be under continuous assessment until the time of confirmation. Those candidates who fail to qualify for the probationary period will be terminated from the job.

SBI CBO Growth & Promotion

The candidates will join the SBI as a Circle Based Officer at Junior Management Grade Scale 1. Later on, as per the performance of the candidate and the rules of the bank, there are chances and opportunities for candidates to get promoted to Senior Management Grade Scale 4. However, the candidates will be monitored closely by the officials of the bank.

Note: No candidate will be eligible for inter-circle transfer until their promotion to 12 years of service or SMGS-IV Grade, or whichever follows on later.
