Download Solution PDFGiven:-
(1) The trapezium whose parallel sides measure 14 cm, and 18 cm
(2) The distance between parallel sides is 15 cm.
Formula used:-
Area = (1/2) × (sum of parallel sides) × (distance between parallel sides)
Calculation:-
Area = (1/2) × (14 cm + 18 cm) × 15 cm
⇒ Area = (1/2) × 32 × 15
⇒ Area = 16 × 15 Area = 240 square centimeters
∴ The area of the trapezium is 240 square centimeters.
