The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is one of the most well-known entrance-level state examinations for admission into various professional and academic programs offered in several disciplines across the state of Odisha. The OJEE Counselling 2025  will be a web-based process and will likely begin in the last week of July 2025. Candidates who qualified for the exam can participate in OJEE Counselling 2025 based on their ranks and schedule. OJEE Counselling 2025 Dates 

For the candidates who have cleared the OJEE 2025 entrance exam, the registration link will soon be available on the official portal. Only registered candidates will be allowed in the OJEE Counselling 2025. 

OJEE Exam dates regarding the Counselling events and seat allotment rounds according to different courses for OJEE 2025 will be given in a week or so.

OJEE Counselling 2025 - Complete Process 

Below is the step-by-step detailed procedure for OJEE 2025 Counselling which will help candidates right from the beginning of the Counselling process till the end: 

Step 1: Registration 

• Firstly, candidates have to visit the official OJEE website and start their registration to initiate the OJEE 2025 Counselling process. 
• While in the process, candidates will be asked to select an appropriate course followed by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth. 
• The candidates must not disclose any of the information provided in this step to anyone.

Step 2: Online Form Filling 

• Moving further, candidates will be asked to enter additional information such as rank, mobile number, e-mail address, etc.
• For verification purposes, candidates will receive an OTP on the mobile number or email address they have provided during this step. Thus, the candidates are requested to provide their valid email ID or mobile number to avoid any sort of hindrance in the flow of communication from the Authorities.
• Then, the candidate has to create a password and reconfirm the same.
• The candidates must keep the password confidential which will help them in the subsequent stages. 

Step 3: Details Verification 

• In this step, the candidate is given an option of verifying the details entered by them during the registration step. 
• If a candidate feels they entered some wrong information, they can simply click on the “Edit” button to edit the requisite information.
• After confirming that all the entered details are correct, confirm the registration. 
• The candidates must keep a copy of the filled registration form required during the documents verification process. 

Step 4: Counselling Process Fee Payment 

• The candidates have to log in to their account and deposit INR 450/- which is the Counselling registration fee via available online payment methods.

Step 5: Choice Filling 

• After depositing the registration fee, the candidates have to proceed to the Choice Filling step. 
• The choice filling button will redirect the candidates to the instruction page, and before proceeding any further, the candidates must go through the instructions carefully. 
• The candidates are suggested to provide the maximum number of choices. The candidates can also alter the order of the choices filled accordingly. 
• Candidates eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme will be able to choose from both the TFW and non-TFW seats offering colleges and branches. 
• The candidates will be able to know the status of their seat allotment in the Mock Results. Based on the Mock Result, candidates may opt to alter their choice and preference. 
• After the result, the process for choice locking will be initiated. The candidate needs to go through the choices.
• Once finalized, lock the choices which an OTP will be sent to them on their RMN (Registered Mobile Number). Verify the same and keep a printout.

Step 6: TemporaryAllotment-I 

• The process of the temporary allotment-I will commence according to the date & the schedule will be on the OJEE official website soon.
• Based on the options exercised by the candidates, their position will either remain the same or may be promoted to upper choice in the subsequent allotment rounds. 
• Those candidates who could not secure a seat in this round have to wait for the next allotment rounds.
• In case a candidate wants to withdraw from the OJEE 2025 Counselling process, he/she must visit the nodal center to withdraw from the Counselling procedure. 
• The candidate will be refunded the amount deposited by him/her as a part of the admission fee. 
• All those candidates who have withdrawn from the OJEE 2025 Counselling process and have not frozen their allotment will not be considered for the next round/s of the seat allotment process. 

Step 7: Payment of Admission Fee 

• Candidates willing to continue with the Counselling process have to deposit a part of their admission fee before reporting at the Nodal Centres for verification of the documents. 
• The amount which must be deposited by the candidates will vary according to their category (General Category-INR 10,000/- and SC/ST/PwD-INR 5000/-). 
• Candidates who fail to deposit the admission fee will be removed from the race of seat allotment process, and the seats allocated will be canceled. 
• The candidates have to provide the receipt of the deposited fee for proof during the verification of documents. 
• The candidates will only be allowed to withdraw from the admission process if they report at their respective nodal centers within the stipulated period and apply for the withdrawal process. Such candidates will be refunded their entire admission fee for which they have to provide their banking details. 

Step 8: Temporary Allotment-II 

• The Temporary Allotment-II will commence as per the date and schedule which will be mentioned soon on the official OJEE website. 
• Candidates who were not allocated a seat in the previous round will be allocated a seat based on their rank, availability of seats, and category of the candidates. 
• Candidates failing to acquire a seat in this round have to wait for the final allotment process. 
• In the process, candidates ( who withdrew from the Counselling process after the temporary allotment stage) will be eligible to acquire a seat in the final round via the up-gradation process. 

Step 9: Final Allotment

• Seats will be allocated to those candidates who have opted for the up-gradation process along with some newly allocated candidates.
• The result of the final allotment process can be viewed on the official website of OJEE.
• All the candidates can now download the final allotment letter.

What Options Will Be Available After OJEE 2025 Seat Allotment? 

The candidates should successfully register themselves on the OJEE portal and should check if they have been allocated a seat or not. If they have been allocated a seat for the Counselling process, then they will have the following options:

• Once accepted the seat, no further changes will be considered.
• Apply for revision- this option is required to make the payment of the requisite fee to the allotted University.
• Exit from the OJEE admission process - if any candidate chooses this option, he/she will lose his/her current allotted seat and will not be considered for allotment in the subsequent lists also.
• If any candidate does not exercise any of the above options, it shall be considered that he/she is not interested in the admission process and his/her candidature will not be considered for admissions. 

OJEE Seat Allotment 2025 - Fee Details 

Candidates will be offered seats based on OJEE 2025 results and choices filled in the application form. For JEE Main qualified candidates, authorities will conduct two separate provisional OJEE 2025 seat allotment rounds. 

• The result of the seat allotment of OJEE 2025 will be made available on the official website. 
• The admission fee amounting to Rs. 25,000 (admission fee: Rs. 20,000 and University registration fee: Rs. 5,000) will have to be paid by the candidates through E-Challan. 
• Also, candidates will also be able to pay the admission fee in an online mode (credit/debit card/net banking) after logging into the account. 

After the OJEE 2025 seat allotment is done, download the provisional allotment letter and report to the allotted institute for document verification and confirm their seat.

Documents Required for Verification after OJEE Seat Allotment 2025

All the allotted candidates will have to report to the assigned nodal center in the assigned schedule for verification of their respective documents: 

• Downloaded Rank card (OJEE/JEE (Main)/ or Scorecard (CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ GATE/ GPAT/ NIMCET etc.). 
• Online registration print.
• Class 10th certificate/any other document showing the candidate’s date of birth.
• Class 12th standard mark sheet and pass certificate.
• School Leaving / College Leaving Certificate. 
• Original Certificate of Resident or Native of Odisha from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tehsildar.
• Original Certificate of Employment of Candidate’s parent / Spouse. 
• Original SC / ST Certificate by birth. 
• Original Certificate of Ex-serviceman. 
• Original Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department of Odisha. 
• Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract (OL). 
• Original Certificate in support of NRI. 
• Income certificate for TFW candidates.

During the OJEE 2025 Counselling process, candidates will be able to select the college/university from the list of OJEE 2025 participating institutes. Government-Sponsored and Self Financed institutes will be included in the OJEE participating institutes 2025; out of which the candidates will be able to select.
